VEGAN SHOES ARE ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA

There is no more a challenge to shops animal-friendly shoes. For a very long time it was a myth, that only real leather shoes can be quality and luxury. But fashion industry offers us such a huge selection of animal-free, durable and ethically made shoes: from sneakers to heels, to feel and look good. My new favourites are boots from "Eco Vegan Shoes". "Eco Vegan Shoes" is a brand originally from Netherlands, they offer an entirely range of vegan shoes for women and men. I own Anna Bootee Black boots, which I wore non-stop last weekend. They are probably one of the most comfortable pair of boots I have owned. I love long weekend's walking in beautiful botanic park in Athens. These shoes feel quite comfy and high quality. The classic design and black colour make shoes easy to integrate in day or evening outfit. Breathable vegan leather and insole is heathy for feet, as well. Vegan shoes is always a good idea, why?

First of all, vegan leather is made not from the skin of dead animals. Not only does vegan leather make you look good, it also makes you feel good because it’s cruelty-free. More than a billion cows, pigs, goats, sheep, alligators and much more are cruelly slaughtered for their skins every year and some are even skinned and cut apart while still conscious. Vegan leather offers a killer look without any killing.

Planet Earth loves vegan leather, too. Turning skin into leather takes loads of energy and a toxic brew of chemicals—including mineral salts, coal-tar derivatives, formaldehyde, oils, dyes. Also, leather industry waste contains water-fouling salt, lime sludge, sulfides, acids, and other pollutants. All the standard environmental and ethical arguments against the consumption of meat and dairy apply equally to the production of leather, such as CO2 emissions, factory farming, monocultures, deforestation to grow animal feed and the moral issue of breeding to slaughter and killing.

Vegan shoes are an investment for ethics, sustainability and environment.
