Matte lipsticks became popular and claimed a high position in makeup. I, like many other girls, was influenced and curious to try one of them. When I started to search for my new lipstick, of course, I wanted it to be a cruelty – free. It was quite a challenge, but I was lucky to find Milani Cosmetics brand. Milani is a good drugstore brand which provides excellent products at an affordable price. So, I decided to give it a try! There comes to another challenge, what kind of color should I go for? I was looking for a lipstick to wear every day, and I thought a Precious color will suit the best with my skin complexion.
The Milani Amore Matte Lip Crème Precious arrived in a clear plastic tube with holographic writing in gold that says Amore Matte Lip Crème on one side and Milani on the other side. The bottom of the tube specifies the name Precious 11. The applicator is a double-sided plush applicator, which makes it easy to apply on lips.
It’s time to talk what is inside this beautiful packaging. First, this lip product has a very pleasant, natural vanilla-y scent. With a flexible soft applicator, it’s very easy to apply the product on the lips. The texture of lipstick feels nice and non-sticky. It dries completely matte within a minute. Just keep in mind, that if you have a dry chipped lip, a matte lipstick can make it even more visible. So, I highly recommend to exfoliate your lips and moisture with a balm before wearing the lipstick. My chosen color is described as a “cool-toned rose” on the website and I think it’s a neutral nude color, which will suit different skin tones.
The lipstick stays on lips for around 8 hours without the need to reapply and doesn’t crack. I am really happy with the long – lasting texture and pigmented color. One of the biggest advantages of this lipstick is that its extremely pigmented and literally it enough to apply a very thin layer on the lips.
I high recommend it to makeup lovers, who want a quality product for a very reasonable price.
